Was there enough water to flood the earth? You’ve probably heard the claims. There wasn’t enough water to flood the entire earth. And even if there was, it couldn’t have rained fast enough. And even if it could, it wouldn’t have drained fast enough. So it couldn’t have happened. It’s scientifically impossible.
Now the earth was formless and empty
In the beginning. Or maybe shortly after the beginning. Either way, at some point, the earth was formless and empty. What does that mean? Was it the beginning or not? Is there any significance to formless and empty?

Have you heard the saying about something not being worth the paper it’s printed on? In other words, it has little to no value. A news story I read made me wonder, “In your mind, is the Bible worth the paper it’s printed on?”

Which politician says let us return to the Lord? I’m not sure that any politician ever said that. But, you may remember one that claimed “Nobody has done more for Christianity or for evangelicals or for religion itself than I have”.

Lots of people recognize the words, In the beginning, as the first three words in the Bible. Or, more properly, as the first three words in the Torah. But how many people ask, which beginning?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. We kind of know what the earth is. But what is/are the heavens? And was the beginning really “The Beginning?” Or was it the beginning of something, rather than the beginning of everything?

Is it seven days of creation or seven creation days? Is that wordplay? Or is there really a difference between days of creation and seven creation days? The two are not at all the same. And they make a huge difference in whether or not the so-called seven days of creation is a stumbling block to believing in God and the Bible.
Will there be gentrification in Heaven?
You know what gentrification is, right? It’s where rich people drive poor people out of a neighborhood, essentially because they can afford to. They don’t want anything of what’s there already, except maybe the location. Everything else has to go. Do you think there’ll be gentrification in Heaven?
