Is the Bible relevant today? The first time I wrote that, years ago, I said, “Of course. Absolutely”. But today I wonder, what does that mean? Relevant to who? And relevant for what reason? So I changed the question. Is the Bible relevant to you in your life today?
I love you! See you later, when I die. Who would ever say that? If we love someone, would we really walk away and choose to spend a lifetime without them?

We have faith that our team will win. And faith that it will rain. Even that we can pick a winning lottery number. In all those cases, faith requires taking a risk on something you can’t see. Faith requires trust. So why do we have so much trouble with trusting God?
Did scientists really create a monkey? That’s what some claim. The headline on cnn.com says, Scientists create chimeric monkey with two sets of DNA. As often happens, scientists overstated what they accomplished.
Free salvation through Jesus. It’s a free gift, right? And all I have to do is believe. So then, how can it cost nothing but ask for everything?
