Do you want to believe the Bible is true?

Some people ask, โ€œHow do we know the Bible is true?โ€ Some Christians will say, โ€œOf course it isโ€. But hey โ€“ thatโ€™s not really an acceptable answer for someone whoโ€™s asking, โ€œIs the Bible true?โ€, is it? My first thought after hearing that is, โ€œDo you want to believe the Bible is true?โ€

How does rest influence the seven days of creation?

Sometimes we need to take a break. And if we really need one and donโ€™t take it, God might tell us to lie down in green pastures. Iโ€™ve been there. Done that. And apparently, needed to do it again. And that got me to a day of rest. Actually, a time of rest. Which leads to: Was it seven days of creation? Or seven creation days? Ever since the beginning, the two things are tied together. That begs the question, how does rest influence the seven days of creation?

Can China and U.S. governments define a new Christianity?

Who gets to define religion? In our case, specifically, who gets to define the new Christianity? China passed new religious regulations almost six tears ago. I started to write about them a couple of times. It was never quite right though. I felt like the U.S., in some way, was going to copy what China did. As it turns out, weโ€™re doing just that.

Who is God? Do pronouns take us away from Godโ€™s love?

Who is God? Or is it what is God? Not to mention, what are His โ€œpreferred pronounsโ€? I read a recent article that makes me feel like all this political correctness is taking us away from who/what God said He is. Most of all, God is love. But the article never used the word love. Not even once.

Did God make lots of fish die? Or did we?

Did you see all the fish that died on the beaches in Texas? And have you seen the stuff on how this points to the end of the world? I have a different question. Did God make lots of fish die? Or, did God know that we were going to make all those fish die? And does it matter?

Who was the first to say vengeance is mine?

Who was the first to say vengeance is mine? Many people know that as something from the Bible. If it was early on, then itโ€™s likely God was the first to say it. If itโ€™s early enough, then God said it before any of todayโ€™s major religions were established. But do we understand where it came from what it really means?
