Screwtape Letter #2. Questions. “Your patient has become a Christian”

Things sounded rather well for Screwtape and Wormwood at the end of the first letter. But no letter that has “I note with grave displeasure” can be good. Add to that the comment that “your patient has become a Christian”, and we know right away, Screwtape Letter #2 is not going to be a happy one for Wormwood.

How quickly things change. But hey, isn’t life like that? We can go from hero to zero so fast we don’t have a clue what happened.

Apparently, the same things can happen to little devils as well. Even the big guy, Satan. Imagine the shock he had when Jesus came back to life on Easter – aka Resurrection Day!

So we know, no matter how powerful Satan and his minions may be, Jesus is stronger.

Let’s see what happened. Also, what are Screwtape’s recommendations for his nephew? And while we’re at it, look at our own lives, or people we know.

Of course, anything we learn, whether it works or not, must be done with the helper Jesus sent to us after He returned to Heaven – The Holy Spirit.
