Does God always give us what we want? There are certainly those who say the answer is yes. Especially if we have enough faith.
Was Judas saved? Did God love him enough to forgive him?
Judas made the deal with the Jewish leaders that led to Jesus being arrested, and eventually dying on the cross. But, was Judas saved? Did God love Judas enough to forgive him? Those are questions that seem to come up quite a bit when talking about Judas. Of course, we won’t know for sure until the next life. After all, God can do anything, can’t He?
On this rock Part 1 – Who doesn’t love to win?
On this rock … Something happened at that rock. Something incredible. It could literally save the world. Unfortunately, too many people either don’t know or don’t care. Do you? Do you care enough to risk everything? That rock represented the start of a revolution. One that you can take part in. If you’re willing.
Whoever loves God must also love his brother and sister
Bible. Certainly, non-Christians might feel no obligation to obey it. But if we’re Christian, it’s not a suggestion. It’s not just a “nice” thing to think about. It’s a command! And there aren’t any exceptions to go with it.
Why do you stand here looking into the sky? Do something!
Why do you stand here looking into the sky? If you’re a wolf in the snow, you’re looking for clear sky. Or maybe just like to howl at the moon. If you’re a Christian, then this question is for you. Actually, this question was for you. It was asked a couple thousand years ago. And it’s still as valid now as it was then. And the point was/is – do something!

Lithium and energy independence. Will God’s creation be destroyed again?
Deep in the Southern California desert, a massive drill rig taps into what could be the energy of the future. That’s the opening line from an NBC News article. But my question isn’t just about lithium and energy independence. No. I want to ask if, yet again, will God’s creation be destroyed in our rush to get that independence. In other words, are we ruling over the earth, or are our desires ruling over us?
Do Christians know who is poor?
The Bible says we should care for the poor. But do Christians know who is poor? I always thought, for the most part, it was pretty obvious who was poor and who was rich. Maybe the middle is hard to determine, but the rich and the poor? I didn’t think so. Then I read something this morning. It totally blew me away. Shocking.
Why doesn’t the COVID pandemic make people more loving?
Is COVID making us more loving? Or more hating? That question came to mind when I first wrote this in August 2020. But now, in January 2022, I must change the question to Why doesn’t the COVID pandemic make people more loving? It’s sad to do that. And I know that in some cases it does make people more loving. But I can’t help but wonder, why doesn’t it happen to a much larger extent?
Is Hell on earth a real thing?
We talk about something being Hell on earth. But is this really it? But before we got there, let’s see what Hell means. Of course, it’s about the devil, Satan, being in charge. And everything happens his way. That’s what being in charge is about, right? And one other thing. For those of you that... Continue Reading →
