So here’s my question. For a Christian, should the ends justify the means with Donald Trump? Notice, I wrote should, not do. Truth be told, for many Christians, Trump’s ends do justify the means. But should they?
Did God Forsake You If Cancer Surgery Isn’t 100% Successful?
Never will I leave you or forsake you. I suppose pretty much every Christians knows that line. But do we believe God will never forsake us and do we live like we believe it?
What is the source of knowledge? True knowledge?
What is the source of knowledge? And I mean of true knowledge? Not just information. Not someone’s version of “their truth” or what someone else “knows”. No, I mean real, honest-to-goodness true knowledge. Remember when that used to exist?
The Great Commission apparently isn’t so great anymore
The Great Commission apparently isn’t so great anymore. I feel like that must make God cry. And yet, it doesn’t seem to bother many Christians these days. And why should it? Apparently, they don’t even know what it is. And way too many Christians have never even heard of the Great Commission! So sad.
Much too tired
I can't believe it's been three plus months since the last time I wrote anything here. It's not like I haven't done anything. Or don't have anything to write. But then, I guess having too much to do is better than not having enough. Anyway, I finally decided it's time to do something I really didn't want to have to do.
If Christians are a new creation, why isn’t everything perfect?
If Christians are a new creation, why isn’t everything perfect? I ask the question because of today’s Verse of the Day, from YouVersion. It says we are a new creation. The old is gone. The new is here. It sounds so exciting! So how come things aren’t perfect? For that matter, how come little or nothing seems to have changed? Is the verse wrong?
For I have put my trust in you
For I have put my trust in You. That would not have been possible if it weren't for things I considered storms. Events that happened that I didn't like at the time. And yet, also events that enabled me to do things that wouldn't have been possible without those storms.
